National Latin Honor Society

National Junior Classic League

Eligibility (by NJCL):

- active member in JCL

- maintain 'A' average in Latin classes

- model good citizenship and scholarship

- must be taking or have taken Latin III

2020-2021 CHS Member Requirements:

- have paid dues for NLHS and JCL

- have accepted invitation to join NLHS

2021-2022 CHS Requirements:

- demonstrate active participation in NLHS and JCL*

- have paid dues for both NLHS and JCL

- demonstrate service and citizenship to the community*

*Terms outlined at the first meeting

*We define active participation as attendance at 2 meetings per semester.

Service requirement can be met by: helping set up/clean up social events for JCL (come 30 minutes early, leave 30 minutes late, bring something), signing up as a peer tutor, or volunteering to present your own research at a monthly meeting.

Citizenship requirement is met by attending one JCL social event per semester.
